How Easy Is It To Run An Edmonton Bounce House Business

Hi everyone. This is Yanick from the Big Bounce Theory and today we’re gonna talk about how easy it is to run a bounce house business. And to start, we have a quote here from Anonymous, and Sonia sharpens your math skills because you spend all night calculating how much sleep you’ll get if you’re able to fall asleep. Right now, according to NASA, 10 minutes of bouncing or rebounding is a more efficient cardiovascular workout than over 30 minutes of running. Not only does jumping get your heart rate up, but it also works a variety of muscles, which is crucial to prop for proper development in children and adolescents. I would say that because this kind of company is all about logistic and not about anything else really, it’s really, you gotta make sure that your staff is at the right place at the right time. And if that’s not something that you’re able to do, it’s gonna be very hard for you to be able to reach success in this kind of industry because it’s very time, time sensitive. I would say the same thing as how easy it is. It’s all about logistic. If you’re able to Get your staff to the right place at the right time it will be easy. But if you can’t figure out logistic in the world in general, so if you’re always late to people’s places or just to an appointment, it’s gonna be very hard for you to run a bounce sales business because it’s very time sensitive. And if you don’t get there on time, people get very frustrated and it creates a lot of chaos.

You Need to be Very Organized

Filling up in parks is very, very complicated for nothing, I think to be there at a very specific time versus a backyard party where we can drop it off four hours earlier and people are super happy ’cause they get extra time. This is a big difference. Having multiple teams to deliver and pick ups all the events within the same day makes things a lot smoother. Trying to do this all by yourself, it’s gonna be a pain in the butt. It’s gonna be very hard and it’s gonna be a long draining day for you. You must be punctual. You are, you must have tolerance. And be willing to work long hours, especially on weekends. So sacrifice as well, because if you have kids, you won’t see your kids on the weekend, it’s gonna be, we’re talking from 7:00 AM to sometime midnight. So this is, it’s, it’s mostly a weekend business that can make you live off of that. For the, the whole, the whole year while only working for about three or four months of the year, I would say trying to be on time for every event, especially for a day where we have over 40 deliveries and pickups to do. Trying to make sure that we’re on time for every single one of them, even at with some hiccups throughout the day and such. I would say this probably the biggest issue that we have. There is multiple of them. Of course, you have to have a good marketing strategy in order to reach clients. There’s also online booking. This is a big time saver. You must get a software that does all the booking automatically jerking on the website. So customers can just go visit the website, book online, and then you wake up in the morning, you’ve got six bookings for this weekend, very happy. And of course you have to have a good accounting team. And I already said marketing as well as a good team of delivery drivers and face painters, bell twisters and such. All has to be very well trained and know what they’re doing.

Punctuality is Important for Events

In order to succeed you need to work on your punctuality, your tolerance to work long hours and not being able to just call sick the morning when you wake up and you just don’t feel too good. That’s not, that’s not an option for you getting into this kind of business. Just think that you have 20 or 30 or 40 birthday parties that people are relying on you as the main activity for your event, for their event, sorry. So if you cancel them, this can bring you a very, very bad name to your business and that’s gonna drain, bring you down instantly. You can definitely start at this kind of business if you have a full-time job as well as a family. It’ll be a little challenging because then you work seven days a week nonstop for about eight months of the year. If you have a family, well, you see, I have a fiancĂ© that works with me once, once every once in a while, I guess with castles just so she can spend time with me on the weekends. Since she’s a nurse, she’s working full-time during the week so we don’t get to see each other very often. So it is challenging, but it’s definitely something that you can do if you’re willing to do the sacrifice for it. Thank you for watching our video today.
